Senior in Retail Merchandising and Management currently looking to gain knowledge and experience through a full-time position in a creative and challenging field. With a 3.9 GPA, 6 years of retail experience, and a hands-on retail merchandising and business education, I hope to be a creative and dedicated addition to your company.

•Attended Moda Manhattan/Fame/The Accessories Show: Served as an assistant buyer, scouted new suppliers for The Niche Boutique.
•Shadowed a Kohl’s buyer for the day: Sat in on buying, trend forecasting, and other consultation meetings.
•Attended National Retail Federation’s Student Conference: Spoke one-on-one with retail executives, attended sessions on networking, social media, leadership, and finance.

MERCHANDISING PROJECT

FALL 2015

•Market Research: Developed and conducted market surveys, product industry trend analysis and consumer data research.
•Product Analysis: Reviewed aged inventory, suggested selling strategies and methods to promote products and services.
•Visual Merchandising: Developed a simulated floor plan to display products to maximize sales and customer experience.
•Marketing Solutions: Developed client’s website, designed new logo, business cards, and promotions, planned grand opening event tasks, researched and recommended involvement at local or regional craft show events to market the business.

VISUAL MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT

FOREVER 21 ST. CLOUD, MN MAY 2016-PRESENT

•Create and maintain apparel displays in line with corporate guidelines
•Curate outfits for mannequins and store fixtures that appeal to local target markets
